Record year for Mark Information
Record profits for Mark Information indicate that the company is staying on track with its ambitious growth strategy.
The Danish company Mark Information delivered a positive result once again. 2007 was the best year to date for the company. Mark Information is Northern Europe's leading supplier of solutions for collection, processing and documentation of companies' resource consumption. The record result is proof that the company's ambitious growth strategy developed in 2006 has borne fruit.
"We can only be satisfied when all of the important key figures are in double digits," says President Steffen Meyer, who also expects continued growth in activities and new customers in 2008. "The Danish home market is still the company's largest, but we have also experienced significant growth in activities in Norway and Sweden and we have achieved improved profitability in England," says Steffen Meyer.
The company's gross profits in 2007 totaled DKK 50.4m / GBP 5.4 (DKK 39.4m in 2006) and the profits from core operations totaled DKK 4.6m / GBP 501.312 (DKK 0.4m in 2006).
Streamlining and cost cutting measures are more than ever a vital parameter in a company's ongoing efforts to remain profitable and competitive. Mark Information's product portfolio has historically assisted many companies with streamlining and expanding the impact of an ERP system, such as SAP, from the far corners of the factory floor to individual machines and employees. "During the course of 2008, our product portfolio will be further strengthened with functionality to support mobile employees as well as support for shift and staffing planning, which is especially needed in the retail and service industries," says Steffen Meyer.
