Internal IT Support Engineer
Mark Information is looking for a Support Engineer to expand our internal IT department
Mark Information is experiencing rapid growth both in terms of customers and development. For many years the company has been a niche player in the North-European ERP market specializing in IT systems for collection of actual real-time production data. To help us in this effort, we are looking for a Support Engineer to expand our internal IT department.
You will need to work as an individual in a team of dedicated and experienced people, where the personal and professional skills are equally important.
Your profile:
The main required skills include one or more of the below:
- General understanding of networks and fundamental knowledge on TCP/IP and basic tools
- General knowledge and experience with Windows Server 2000/2003 configuration incl. standard features such as IIS
- General understanding of Windows Server 2003 rights (NTFS and Shares) and policies
- Basic knowledge on Oracle Server and/or MS SQL Server is beneficial
- Configuration of work stations (PC, Laptop, PDA and mobile phones)
- Configuration and maintenance of servers, infrastructure, and networks
- Installation and maintenance of MS Office
- Installation and maintenance of firewalls and security packages
- Experience in structured troubleshooting
- Ability to quickly adapt new information
- Ability to guide others through troubleshooting via phone
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good written and oral communication skills in English, incl. common technical terms and phrases
